On hire surveys assure only quality leased equipment is coming into your inventory. We document all existing repairs, improper repairs as well as repairs needed before the container or chassis is taken On Hire. Our On Hire surveys can assist you in the Off Hire or In Service process as well. Datacon also does In Service inspections on containers and chassis that remain on lease to your company. CSC Safety Inspections can be done for containers purchased for cargo worthy or seaworthy useage. Seaworthy certicates can be issued for each container as well as a current CSC sticker applied to the container’s Data Plate. Food grade inspections and ammo grade inspections can also be carried out to insure quality equipment meeting the specific criteria is followed.
Datacon technicians can pre-inspect chassis that are going to be released to truckers prior to the driver’s arrival at the depot or railroad. Roadability inspections will be carried out by Datacon’s skilled technicians before the driver arrives. Chassis that fail due to major issues will be swap with another chassis. Minor damages will be repaired before the driver arrives to avoid long lines to carry out “gate repairs”.
